Nobody’s Perfect

Some of us take our mistakes harder than others.  Personally, I hate typos in things I write.  They drive me crazy, and since I do a lot of writing for my job, I try and steer clear.  (Yes, that gives you license to point out my mistakes here.)

But, you know, mistakes happen, and such is life.

That said, it must really suck when your typos are broadcast on national TV:

And the player didn’t even notice it when he put on his jersey.  When it was brought to Eugenio Velez’s attention by a heads-up reporter after the game he said it was “Increible!” Let’s not pile on the clubhouse guy or the jersey manufacturer.  They’re only human.

This brings back to mind a good baseball typo from last year (that’s Adam Dunn — he didn’t notice either, the Big Donkey):

    Some of the recent Hadron collider article typos were pretty amusing.
