The Feathered Bronx

The Bronx, the only part of the City attached to the mainland of the United Sates (spare me your Marble Hill nonsense) has long had a population of wild Monk or Quaker Parrots. I believe Queens and Brooklyn also have populations, but I prefer the Bronx ones. Here is a photo essay about them from some guy who runs a website called brooklynparrots.com

Apparently, they are intelligent, social and make good pets.
