Lincoln Center is having a Clint Eastwood retrospective. So continuing my recent run of nerve-wracking 70’s flicks, we went to see Play Misty For Me yesterday.

I’ll leave the details for another time, but suffice it to say that it’s far from a great movie. It was generally suspenseful and entertaining — if not always for the reasons Mr. Eastwood may have intended.  And there is a particular scene in the forest that is, how do I put this, special.

After we got home, a little interweb poking around revealed that Clint had, earlier in his career, been a guest star on Mr. Ed.  So we watched the entire episode.  I feel that it would be wrong not to share our discovery.  Here you go:

    Ha ha ha! That’s great and was that sweet talker, Ellie May Clampett? WILBURRRR!
