Our Continued Demise

November 26, 2010

When did Black Friday become a holiday? It’s grotesque. Shopping, no matter how low the prices ought not be a ‘celebrated’ activity. Look at this picture (which I grabbed from digitaltrends.com and may or may not be a fair representation of American behavior):

It is entirely possible that this photo is of an event which has nothing to do with Black Friday, I choose to believe it is a perfect representation of the madness/idiocy/moral collapse that has a strangle hold on our once great nation.

I grow weary.

I celebrated “Black Friday” sitting in a bar and drinking and trying to pretend it wasn’t happening.
