As someone who was at Saturday night’s Prince concert, I’m personally offended by this (pointed out by EV Grieve):

What the fuck? I don’t even know where to start. First, who the fuck eats at Red Lobster in Manhattan other than the people from Oklahoma? Nobody, that’s who. If it weren’t for the giant rotating lobster, I would have long ago forgotten that Red Lobster even existed here. Second, what kind of moron brings their leftovers to a concert at MSG (or anywhere else for that matter)? It’s fucking ridiculous. Leave your rancid shellfish scraps elsewhere.

People annoy the shit out of me.

As for the concert itself, Sheila E. showed up and was fucking incredible. The Glamorous Life and A Love Bizarre live. Hard to beat that. Prince himself was perhaps not at the very top of his game, and the star-fucking conclusion was unnecessary, but an excellent show all-around.

People are despicable. Also, I don’t think the lobster spins anymore.

It amazes me when I walk by that Red Lobster and look and see hordes of people waiting for a table. And most of them look like tourists. So you come to New York, where there’s countless great restaurants and you go to the Red Lobster. Craziness!

I would’ve loved to have seen that Prince concert, especially with Sheila E. showing up!
