You know what’s a humbling experience?  Being a life-long New Yorker, walking out of the subway heading to where you’re going and then realizing an entire block later that you walked in the wrong direction.

      You know what’s even more humbling than walking in the wrong direction? Being made fun of by a Peorian. Jeez.

        Make that a former Peorian! (Although, you really can never totally cleanse Peoria out of your system, believe me I’ve tried.)

    Happened to me just last week — carrying a crate of supplies. My excuse is the every block on the friggin upper west side looks identical. Damnit.

        What are you guys talking about? The place is pinned between the river and the park, there aren’t that many streets to remember.
