Another madperson has snapped at a Gauguin retrospective at the National Gallery in DC and started pounding Two Tahitian Women with her fists and trying to yank the painting off the wall while wailing “This is evil!” until a male social worker from the Bronx tackled her. There was no damage, no crowbar, so presumably, no predetermination. Did “evil” nipples set off the sudden crusader?
So, in solidarity with Gauguin, I feel we at THEG should do our part. Protect your children.
