Factoid of the Day

October 18, 2011

The New Yorker blog points out this very yellow chart (is it a chart? maybe not. it’s got those little Lego-style heads. does that matter to its chartness? not sure. but I digress.) on SMS text-messaging which, among other interesting and not-so-interesting information notes that “forty-eight million people worldwide have cell phones but no electricity.”

Kind of hard to wrap my mind around that one.
